PRACTICE
2010 Spring Preseason practice schedules will be coordinated after signups are complete.
Cheer leading is a sport! If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be on ESPN! And because it is a sport, it requires conditioning. For the first week of practice, our cheerleaders will go through a “mini cheer camp,” instructed by our wonderful volunteer cheer coaches. During the camp we will be focusing on learning proper technique for jumps, arm motions, cheers and chants, stunting and cheer dance. We will also be working on team building activities.
All cheerleaders will be required to wear comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, and have hair tied back. No jewelry, gum, jeans, flip-flops or sandals will be permitted. All cheerleaders are required to bring a bottle of water to every practice.
After the “camp,” practices will go to two a week.
GAMES
Games will be held on Saturdays. Times and locations will be announced.
SPRING SEASON REGISTRATION

They are representatives of SCPW. They must showcase a positive attitude and be well mannered. The parents of each cheerleader will be equally responsible and conduct themselves in a respectful manner at each practice, game or SCPW activity. NO CONSUMPTION OF DRUGS, USE OF FOUL LANGUAGE OR OTHER INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT WILL BE TOLERATED.
